Ayurveda is an alternative medicine system with historical roots in the Indian subcontinent. The theory and practice of Ayurveda is pseudoscientific. The Indian Medical Association characterises the practice of modern medicine by Ayurvedic practitioners as quackery. Ayurveda is heavily practiced in India and Nepal, where around 80% of the population report using it.
AIlon has analyzed 1021 people from Germany who have a very high affinity to Ayurveda and compared the mean values with a representative sample of the population.
