This graphic visualizes the geographical distribution by federal states of Airbnb customers in Germany. The statistic is visualized in index levels. Clearly overrepresented are the customers in Bavaria, Brandenburg, Rhineland-Palatinate. The lowest values can be found for Thuringia, Bremen, North Rhine-Westphalia.
The index levels are normalized with regard to the german population. Thies means, that a value of 100 represents the societies expected value. A value of 200 would mean, that the Airbnb customers occur twice as often in that state, as "normal".
